Somatic Healing for The Exhausted Woman
Body Tense - Mind Wired
12 Somatic Healing sessions to help you
Move from tension, anxiety, and constant stress
To responding with calm, and releasing the self-doubt (or critic) that keeps you spiraling
Hey Love, I know it’s been exhausting…
Spending so much time overthinking - analyzing every conversation, feelings, decisions. Replaying what you could have said or done differently - at work, in relationships, with your children.
Living with a critical inner voice that keeps telling you that you did or said something wrong, and prompts you to search for external validation or the “right” answer, never allowing you to trust yourself.
Waking up at 3am with a tight chest and a racing mind, running through worst-case scenarios, trying to prevent what might go wrong - or replaying what already happened - trying to release the weight pressing on your chest just so you can breathe again.
Trying to relax, only to notice your thoughts get louder instead of quieter - like there’s no off switch.
The buzzing, restless energy that can’t settle.
If you’re like so many of my clients, you would love to be able to
Stop overthinking, just let it be and move forward.
Rest without simultaneously shaming yourself. You want to rest from a mind that never stops so you can have the energy and time to feel joyful, clear, connected to people and the work you care about.
Hold a posture that is soft but self assured, not tensed in anticipation.
Views your emotions as your trusted guides, rather than overwhelming reactions that leave you in a puddle.
Feel joy without questioning if you deserve it, or wondering when something will come crashing down.
Navigate life and stressful situations with calm, self assurance and poise.
You want to stop the mind loops, to feel a quiet self security, and become the version of you who trusts herself without needing to replay every moment or analyze every interaction.
Maybe it feels this hard because you’ve never actually known an embodied woman.
You know the overthinking woman.
The overwhelmed woman.
The exhausted woman.
That’s the model most of us were given.
Women weren’t taught to think instead of feel by accident.
We learn early that our bodies were unreliable narrators-
too much, too emotional, too sensitive.
So the mind stepped in.
It became very good at managing what once felt overwhelming to feel in the body.
That’s why it feels so hard step out of the mind loops,
because
It is actually an intelligent protective adaptation. Your system figured out a really great way to keep you from experiences in my life where feeling the full extent of the grief, anger, resentment, or fear was too overwhelming and too unsupported to stay present with.
Our resilience lies not in avoiding discomfort but in learning how to sit with it safely and emerge more whole on the other side.
And because you want this so deeply, you’ve tried to ALL the things,
You
Did the therapy,
ReadThe Body Keeps Score,
Listen to the Mel Robbins podcasts,
Practice Joe Dispenza meditations,
Maybe even tried nervous system regulation like tapping…
And some may have helped a little. But it still hasn’t fully shifted. And that makes sense, because
Thinking can’t resolve Overthinking.
You can understand your story for years and still feel the pain, the bracing, and the urgency living in your body. Understanding, naming your patterns, and trying to meditate away the pain cannot take away the hurt in your heart.
This isn’t because you haven’t tried hard enough.
It’s because something essential has been missing.
The mind, though incredibly powerful, needs the wisdom of the body to heal.
The sensations, breath, movement, voice.
Most modalities that try to help offer a cognitive approach,
thinking to ease overthinking.
And love, that will never work, because it’s trying to use the mind to solve what is happening in the body. Our body responds first to experiences in the world, and then the brain. Our body is literally several steps ahead of any conscious thoughts.
It’s like trying to think your way out of a maze built of thoughts: The exit isn't in the walls; it's by stepping outside the structure entirely.
Hi, I'm Chantal
I guide women who live in a nearly constant state of stress and overthinking to come back to their bodies and allow their minds to fully rest. From that rested state, you can remember your confidence, feel clear about big decisions and next steps, and build more ease into your life than you thought possible.
When we include the body and the mind in our healing, things begin to shift.
The way my mind found peace was by building the capacity in my body to feel. I’ve walked through the fire and I’ve come out more alive. Now I help other women walk through it too.
Chantal was recommended to me as a Somatic healer as I knew the trauma that was plaguing me & needed to be removed from my body. she created a peaceful, calm and safe space; through her respectful & diligent listening & understanding, Chantal was able to guide me as I released complex trauma that had been held for so many years. after my session, I felt much lighter & knew that something deep within had shifted.

This is for you if…
You feel exhausted by constant thinking, analyzing, and second-guessing.
You want clarity that comes from inside, not from managing or figuring it out..
You’re curious about working with your nervous system, not just your mindset.
You want to show up in your relationships with more presence and less reactivity.
This work is especially supportive if you’ve done insight-based therapy - and still feel like something hasn’t quite shifted.
This work may not be for you if….
You’re looking for quick fixes, hacks, or techniques to “get rid of” feelings.
You’re not open to slowing down or working at the pace of your nervous system.
You’re only interested in cognitive tools or mindset work.
You want someone to tell you what to do rather than support your own internal authority.
Week by Week - how will this fit into your life?
Our work together starts with you answering a few pre-session questions in the ‘getting to know you’ form.
Session 1:
In our first session we tap into your vision. What you want to move towards in your life. Not from a cognitive place, but from connecting into your body, your intuition, into the version of you that is already who you want to be. We develop a ‘North Star’ - A commitment of how you want to show up in the world. This helps us remember why we are doing this work and keeps us grounded in your vision so you get results. Its like the top of the puzzle box - the whole image. Then we dive into the puzzle pieces…
Session 2, 3 etc…
The next few sessions are about building your internal and external resources - your sources of strength, safety and support. Stress material is something we are always interacting with, a resource helps us find adaptability to dance with life without constantly feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed. Resources help us move towards the uncomfortable feelings that are unconsciously running our lives. We practice nervous system regulation skills to feel safe enough to process emotions, experiences, to hold intensity without overwhelm, to complete the stress responses and integrate past experiences. These regulation skills make you more capable - in your body, your mind to find your way from survival mode - fight flight freeze, into a more clear, connected, curious, creative, present, centered and playful state.
Session on Somatic Awareness:
From this place of inner self security and Self energy - we turn towards the ways we have adapted in life. Our embodied patterns - automatic ways of acting, that may no longer be serving us. We use somatic strategies to understand and build compassion for how they have helped us, what they are taking care of in the past and what they may be costing us in the present and future. We also engage in the contexts around us that help shape these default ways of being and internal narratives. From this place of compassion, when patterns are seen, felt and heard, they begin to soften. It’s understanding with deep internal compassion why we do x when we want y.
Sessions thereafter are Somatic Opening:
Somatic opening is when our embodied patterns begin to soften and change. We use myofascial ball release techniques to soften the tension and posture patterns in the body. We use breath patterns to increase aliveness and support the unthawing or unwinding of stories, emotions and experiences.
Sessions beyond - Somatic Practices:
We explore what skills and ways of being we did not learn because of our past that will serve our commitment - our new way of moving through the world. Just a few examples are; embodied boundaries, centering, making request without collapsing, giving and receiving love, healthy ways of expression anger, somatic practices to move through grief, unlocking the throat chakra for your voice expression, resilience toolkit for moving through inevitable stressors in life without being swallowed by them, embodiment practices to listen to your intuition.
FAQ

If you've tried everything, that actually tells me you're more ready than ever.
It also tells me that what you've tried hasn't gotten to the root — and that's exactly what this work is designed to do.
Many approaches work with the mind or the body. This work integrates both. Because lasting change doesn't happen in one without the other.
-
Let me ask you this - do you have time to waste NOT being present in your life? We are what we practice, and if you want clarity, presence and self security within, these are skills that take time, energy and support to embody. The question is, how much longer do you want to live this way? The fact that you are here tells me you are ready (even if it’s scary!)
